Our outdoor learning environment
Little Village is in the heart of Buderim Village on a peaceful one-acre property with views to the ocean and the mountains, centred around the original colonial homestead and seven new studios.
Children are actively learning while playing in green gardens with cubby houses, mud kitchens, sand and water play, bike paths, swings and slides - a child’s dream backyard.
Our Bush Kindy is an additional outdoor space that promotes physical development, problem-solving, team-building, cultural and environmental learning plus so much more.
Our picturesque village park, a short walk from our centre, is often visited as an excursion for activities from ballgames to bird-watching.
Our indoor learning environment
Our studios are designed for the unique needs of each age group with natural light, fresh air, timber furnishings and resources. From our baby nursery to our kindergarten studios, we have created a home away from home.
We have mindfully chosen inspiring toys and learning resources from around the world and mixed them with locally made timber toys, natural resources and vintage finds.
Each early learning studio is designed to create an engaging educational environment through interest areas; places for imaginative play, construction, numeracy and literacy, science, art and craft, music and movement.
Family Friendly Long Day Care
Little Village Buderim believes in supporting the needs of the whole family while providing high-quality long day care and including everything your baby or child needs so your day is a little easier.
Nutritional Program
Healthy home-style meals are prepared fresh daily by our qualified chef and included in our daily fees. Children and their educators share meals together in a home-like setting to encourage healthy life-long habits.
Communication
To create a ‘circle of communication’ with parents we use a secure parent communication app that allows us to share your child’s day with you. You can digitally check-in and give feedback and messages in real time, helping to build on your child’s learning and care. You can also manage casual bookings with our “Xplor" App.
Enrolling
Little Village offers care and learning for babies from six weeks to school age children. We have two Kindergarten Studios offering a government approved Kindergarten Program. We recommend a child attend a minimum of two days to participate fully in the Kindy Program.

Our daily rate and enrolment fee includes:
- Lunch, morning and afternoon teas, prepared fresh daily in our own kitchen. (Breakfast & late snack if required)
- Nappies, Care products, Bedding for babies in cots
- Subscription to our online Parent Communication and booking Portal, Xplor
- A welcome pack, including a Little Village hat, a water-play bag and a sheet set in a drawstring bag
Centre Management
Kelly Sayers is the Director at Little Village Early Learning Buderim.
Kelly has qualifications and experience in Business Administration, Client Management and Customer Service. After becoming a mother, Kelly completed her Diploma in Children's Services and developed her skills to progress to a Lead Educator and then Assistant Director at Little Village. She is currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Community Management.
Kelly says, "I aspire to provide a place where each child feels safe, secure, supported and that children are always provided with positive learning experiences, where they are able to obtain the skills they need to learn, grow and discover."
Our Director is supported by our Operations Assistant, Administration Assistant, Educational Leader, Environment and Forest Leader in the leadership and educational program of the Centre.
